Dangal: A Meaningful Culmination of 2016

Hello friends, we have made a new beginning with end of the last day of 2016. So, I wish you all Happy New Year and hope that 2017 is full of surprises and blessings. I will not be entering into the question "How did you celebrate the last day of the past year".

I celebrated the last day of 2016, watching the movie, which I consider to be the Indian movie of the year.
Like other bloggers I also waited to post review of Dangal. This came to an end yesterday.
Talking about the movie, I consider it to be marking perfect ending of 2016. The movie is a biographical sports drama directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Aamir Khan, Siddhrth Roy Kapur and Kiran Rao. It is based on the life of Mahavir Singh Phogat, who taught wrestling to his daughters Geeta Singh Phogat, (who is India's first female wrestler to win at 2010 Commonwealth Games, where she won the gold
medal in 55kg) and Babeeta Kumari, who won silver in 51 kg.
Aamir Khan is performing the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat and Fatima Sana Saikh as Geeta

Why you must watch Dangal.

There is not just a single reason to suggest you to watch Dangal. Apart from Aamir factor, this movie promises a blend of strong script, strong performance and perfect presentation of these. Both Fatima and Sanya have been able to fit the requirement of the roles of Phogat sisters.
The most interesting part is the scene of Commonwealth 2010 events. It was like real Commonwealth being played at cinema hall screen.
Movie also has some chunks of humor, be it several scenes of the movie or the song Haanikarak Baapu by Sarwar Khan and Sartaz Khan.
Apart from the above things, the movie is itself message for women empowerment. Country wants gold medals in Olypics and Commonwealths, irrespective of fact who bags its- men or women.

In a nutshell, SRK and Salman, the other Khans are lucky that Dangal  was not opponent of Dilwaale or Sultaan.
